This record sounds as if they decided to record a service out of the blue (no preachin'). I can just hear Barry - McGuire that is; "Hey folks, anybody have a tape recorder?, Let's do a record. It is that RAW, nothing fancy, nothing polished, and to me, it makes me want to have been there. I have told myself that this record will play many a Sunday morning before heading out to church. The songs are simple, nothing that you have to listen to more than twice to remember, still humming that "He's Coming Back", (That and "Doesn't That Bible Say" later appeared on "To The Bride") A definite must have for McGuire fans, a must have if you miss the simplicity of that era.
