The Children of Faith COF Records 1972
The Children of Faith record was recorded in 1972. The girl behind me(Terry Clark-white outfit), Nancy Kent, is now Nancy Clark, Terry's wife. The guy behind her, Duane Clark, is Terry's brother, songwriter, recording artist, partner in publishing Clark Brothers Keepers/CBC. Before the album was finished, David Ortega, standing, was drowned and the record was dedicated to him.
Children of Faith played in south/central Texas. San Marcos, south of Austin, was a regular stop. That is where the band Liberation Suite was from. Both Duane and Terry became part of that band in 1975 and were based in London for almost a year. Lib Suite was chosen to do the tour to introduce Chuck Girard as a solo artist to the UK and Europe. A close relationship between Terry and Chuck began on that tour which led to Chuck producing Terry Clark's first album, WELCOME, for Good News Records in 1978. Terry became a member of Chuck's band and Chuck introduced the him in each concert. "Ugadano Thawanu Maija" charted for months.
