Uprising! Impact 1968?
On Campus Impact 1969?1
Sweater-and-tie matching-pink-dresses bring-em-home-to-mom Campus Crusade For Christ folk octet. Doubt you'll find much fault with their eight-part harmonies or guitar prowess but you've probably heard all these covers a million times before, plus you gotta wade through a few things like 'Bouree For Bach', 'Maleguena' and 'Diwie' on the live lp. Probably generated a lot of 'oh my, aren't they talented' comments back then, but like your neighborhood band doin' oldies at the local fleahole, it doesn't add up to much in terms of originality. Still if you like competent remakes of 'Jordan's River', 'Road To Freedom', 'What's That I Hear','You Can Tell The World' and 'He's Everything To Me' (studio versions on Uprising!, live performance on On Campus) well, here ya go. Looks like two guitars, upright bass and a banjo. Oh, by the way, I do enjoy them. KS

Are You Ready M/M 1970
What is it with all these album covers showing happy people running through fields? Folk/pop sound this time, similar to Armageddon Experience with some of the same songs including three from Michael Omartian (who arranges and directs the music). Quasi-digestible I guess, but mainly listed here for continuity. KS

Born Yesterday custom 1971
Now here we go, this is a little more interesting. Still mostly that Crusader "Now Sound" but redeemed by a pair of songs with buzzin' fuzz guitar ('Love Comes Down' and 'Let's Get Together'). Outside of that it's an acceptable though stylistically clashing mishmash of folkrock, jazz, MOR bluegrass, pop, rock, and a medley of 'Windy'/Never My Love'. KS
