Monster alert! Psychedelic fire and brimstone, scorching double leads, harmony vox, driving percussion. Totally convincing from the outset. I challenge anyone to match the opening triumvirate of 'Get Ready', 'Someone You Need'. and 'Do You Hear. Anything following would come up short, but 'Romans 8:28' done in 'Oh Buddha' style and 'Joy of the Lord' act more like tension relievers than filler. So, after a little laugh, along comes side two and we start all over again with 'I've Got The Rebirth' - more serious in tone, a touch less rockin' but no less impressive. 'Please Don't Refuse Him', a statement demanding action, is a perfect finale. Cover is a hand-drawn depiction of Revelation 1:12-18. Inner sleeve has lyrics and band info. Mega-rare, but obtainable and worth the search and bucks. BF
