The Road Home was another of the Calvary Chapel country rock bands to gain popularity in the early 70's. A secular band before leader/keyboardist Bill Sprouse became a Christian, they played extensively in many of the Maranatha festivals but never released an entire album. Two of their songs appear on the Maranatha 4 lp. Bill Sprouse's rendition of Psalm 5 has been a worship favorite for over 2 decades. Drummer Ed McTaggart later became a member of Daniel Amos.
