Ohio folkrocking do-it-yourselfers that were hip to the Gaithers, Andrae Crouch and Sonlight. Ballads tend to be either on the churchy side or loungy basement M0R but uptempo songs like 'Along Came Jesus', 'Get All Excited', Randy Matthews' 'Easy Movin', and Norman's 'Sweet Song Of Salvation' (included as part of 'Freedom Medley') have these four guys and two girls cruising along in a likable garage mode with accented drums and crude electric lead work. Piano used prominently but is set aside for the lovely bongo-accompanied acoustic track 'A Child'. KS
