Master Key Jasper 1978
Looks to be some kind of pre-Star Song production. A Dawn Treader Production to be specific, with "space effects" by Jim Hotz (aka Jimmy Hotz of Beyond the Crystal Sea fame). Space rock this ain't, though Chuck's an acoustic kind of fella with one of them country voices, confirmed here and there by banjo, fiddle. and pedal steel. Peaceful folk for the most part with simple arrangements utilizing oboe, cello, viola. Songs like the title track come across very moody and dreamlike.

Fear Not, Only Believe Jasper 1979
This obscure follow-up has a bit more of a polished feel than Master Key. Less of an acoustic emphasis as the songs here seem to head in either a light-to-medium rock or easy ballads direction. There's even a disco number in 'Just Jesus And Me` with horn arrangements from Fletch Wiley. The country mentality is still alive and well on 'When The Christians All Go Poof,' one of the more picturesque accounts of the rapture. Other intriguing titles include 'Christian Jukebox', 'You Don't Have To Say Praise The Lord To Praise The Lord' and 'Can It Die For Your Sins'. Dave Perkins on electric guitar.
