Let it Shine Daybreak 1974

In Touch Again Myrrh 1977
Graceful acoustic guitar and piano embellish the folky soft rock of these three guys and one gal. They can tend toward the royally mellow, especially on the occasions when those strings come creepin' in. The custom Let It Shine (a trio at this point) has a few nice simple tracks that escape damage though In Touch Again is clearly superior. Here the acoustic instruments take prominence allowing Suncast to ultimately succeed in the "warm sounds' department, especially when they toss in autoharp, mandolin, banjo, fiddles, and harmonica. They cover a Loggins & Messina tune 'Watchin' The River Run'. Title track is one of those beautiful moody acoustic pieces. KS
